Extreme Trains

Extreme Trains can be over 100 cars per train and be over 60 real feet long.  It can take several volunteers to run or assist an extreme train to make sure there are not any derailments. Sometimes there can only be two trains on our layout at one time compared to our usual 10-15 trains on a normal operating day. We are the only museum that runs extreme trains and it is a favorite for our volunteers so you don’t want to miss this event.
